SWOSU Collegiate Farm Bureau Wins Outstanding Collegiate Chapter Award

Dr.
Jerry Dunn and students from Southwestern Oklahoma State University
(SWOSU) attended the 2024 Oklahoma Farm Bureau (OKFB) Annual Meeting
from November 8–10, 2024. The meeting included general sessions and
updates on the agriculture industry, as well as business meetings
where policy resolutions were approved.

SWOSU’s
Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter was represented by members including
chapter president Clancey Harris, who also competed in the Collegiate
Discussion Meet, Grady Gaunt, and Parker Jacks. The students had the
opportunity to meet notable figures such as Congressman Frank Lucas,
U.S. Senator James Lankford, OKFB President Rodd Moesel, and former
State Senator Mike Schulz.

SWOSU’s
chapter received the Rodd Moesel Award for Outstanding Collegiate
Chapter. This award recognizes the top Collegiate Farm Bureau
chapters that excel in improving their local activities while also
supporting the broader Farm Bureau organization.
