Elk City, OK – The Elk City Fire & EMS Department is actively recruiting paramedics for a dedicated paramedic-only position. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced EMTs looking to advance their careers or for licensed paramedics ready to make a difference in their community.
About the Position
Paramedics will work alongside eight full-time members per shift, including six dual fire/EMS personnel and two paramedic-only members dedicated to ambulance service. The department operates on a Kelly schedule—24 hours on duty, followed by 24 hours off for six days, then four consecutive days off.
