Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford announced upcoming graduation dates and times.
Officials say this year both 2020 and 2021 graduates will have a chance to participate, due to the fact that last year’s commencement activities were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Also all ceremonies will be held at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center on the Weatherford campus, and live streamed on the SWOSU website.
All pharmacy graduates, 2020 and 2021, will graduate on Friday evening, April 30, at 7 p.m. All 2021 undergraduate ceremonies are on Saturday, May 1, either at 10 a.m. or 4 p.m. All master’s and Ed.S. graduates, 2020 and 2021, will graduate on Saturday, May 1, at 1 p.m. and all 2020 undergraduate ceremonies are on Sunday, May 2, at 1 p.m.
SWOSU officials also say to comply with CDC guidelines and SWOSU regulations during the pandemic, guest seating is limited, and guests will be required to wear masks and observe social distance. Ticket and other information are available on the SWOSU graduation website.
